Time to downshift and rev up our Charitable Giving
The tradition of giving has always been an ongoing hallmark of the Niagara Region PCA. Year after year, during our Annual Fall Dinner we generously make financial donations to various charities large and small through direct giving. It has also been customary for Club Members to regularly support our Toy Drive for children in and around the greater Rochester and Buffalo areas during the dinner.
For this year, the Region would like to embark on another charitable project to emulate the Riesentoter Region’s “Phil a Frunk” program…A literal Food Drive (Panorama Magazine February 2016) by asking our Club Members to step up and help gather non-perishable dried and canned foods items, personal needs items and toiletries (toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo, deodorant, soap, laundry detergent, etc.)
For this inaugural year’s efforts, we will be working with “Community Action”, located right across from Terry Hills. The Fall Dinner is a great time to embark on the season of giving. Let us fellow Club Members notch it up and consider giving to those in our community in need
