Several group events are being planned this season to drive our vintage Porsches. Bring out your air cooled (356, 911, 912, 914) or early front engine (924, 944, 928, 968) Porsche for a scenic group drive. They are happiest when they are driven. Details will be posted as they become available.
The Saturday, May 21 drive will take us from a 9:30AM meet-up for coffee at the Pure Imagination Café on 2997 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, and head southeast toward Lakeville on Conesus Lake. From there, we’ll drive along secluded Hemlock and Canadice Lakes, and then toward Honeoye Lake. We’ll stop for lunch at the Twisted Rail Brewing Company in Honeoye. The final stop after lunch will be at Dipper Dan’s in Honeoye Falls for ice cream. From there, folks can choose separate return routes. The mapped route is about 74 miles with the total driving distance depending on your home start. An approximate map is attached.
