photocropThis event is RAIN OR SHINE! Like last year, we have an enclosed pavilion so if it’s cold and rainy, you can get out of the weather.

Join the Niagara Region PCA for a fun scenic drive to Letchworth State Park, the “Grand Canyon of the East”.

8:30am – Meet at  Garber Porsche of Rochester, 3955 W. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14623. They are very graciously hosting breakfast for us again this year.  You MUST register to attend breakfast.  There is limited availability.  The breakfast portion of this event is now FULL,  if you respond to attend the breakfast, you will be put on a waitlist.

9:30am– Departure for Letchworth State Park. We will tour the park’s Portageville entrance, where the event will technically end.  You may continue through the park at your leisure and stop at the South Pavilion at the North end of the park.

The park entry fee is $10. Bring cash.
1:15-3:45pm – South Highbanks Pavilion at Letchworth  will be available to meet and eat if you please. —– PLEASE NOTE: CHANGE OF PAVILION.   We are in the South Pavilion.  Same parking lot.

We are changing things yet again this year due to COVID-19.  While the pavilion will be available, there will be no food served. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. Everything has to be removed from the shelter when we leave. Anything you bring into the park, you must take back out with you.  Letchworth is a “carry in – carry out” park. There will be no trash pick up after we leave. We would appreciate it if you would take leftovers and extras back home with you. We would like to leave a good impression with the park personnel. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Park policy for wearing masks in outside areas and the restrooms.  All persons should have a mask available for use while exploring the park to be used when social distancing is not possible.  Masks are also required in the restrooms.  It is also highly recommended that masks should be worn while in the shelter except when eating/drinking.

We are also asking that your guests are kept to immediate family only, so that as many members as possible can participate.

Below is the link to respond to this event.  The form is quite detailed.  Please read carefully and complete the entire RSVP.   You must rsvp to have breakfast at Garber’s, there is a limited number of spaces available due to COVID restrictions and you will be checked in the morning of the breakfast.  If your name isn’t on the list, you will not be admitted.  If you prefer to skip the breakfast but would still like to participate in the drive, please arrive by 9:15 so that you can attend the Driver’s Meeting.

Please RSVP by October 10th.  Please use this link to RSVP.

Bring your hiking shoes, and camera.
