This event has reached maximum capacity.  Thank you for your interest.

This trip will take you on scenic country roads through the Finger Lakes. We begin by traveling to the quaint village of Aurora. There you will choose either a free guided tour of Mackenzie Childs’ Farmhouse, or continue on Scenic Route 90 to Long Point Winery, on the east side of Cayuga Lake. The winery sits on 72 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. After a group tasting of wines or beers and a casual al fresco lunch, we continue our bucolic drive to Beak & Skiff Orchards in Lafayette for a private hard cider or spirits tasting and specialty apple desserts and cheeses, including maple bourbon pecan pie! We then head to Skaneateles and check in to the historic Sherwood Inn in the heart of the village [room rate includes breakfast]. Then it’s time on your own to enjoy the vibrant downtown shops of Skaneateles, located on the south shore of the Lake before the group meets to dine at Joelle’s Bistro, where Paris-trained chef Joelle and partner Alain will delight with charming ambiance and exquisite food.  Here’s an interesting article on the history of Joelle’s.  A wide range of restaurants, shops, and other activities in the village of Skaneateles suits every interest.

The maximum number for this event is 15 couples or 30 people, and once reached, this event is closed. Please contact Lisa at if you wish to sign up, for more information and for the hotel booking code. The group block room rate will be honored until February 28, 2020 for this event.

Meet up at Union Place Coffee Roasters, 900 Jefferson Road, Rochester NY, at 7:30am
