Dennis Macchio’s BIO
Dave Scott, RaceCoach.net was founded as a result of the glaring problem with most professional race coaching: it only worked towards making drivers fast in a specific car or on a specific track. RaceCoach.net’s founder and chief instructor, Dave Scott, spent many years racing professionally in Grand Am, World Challenge, and ALMS, in addition to a variety of amateur and club racing organizations. He watched as a few racers seemed to prevail in any car, on any track, and in any weather, and distilled many of their secrets into a detailed, organized coaching program. One hour coaching sessions are available for $185 on a first come/first served basis by contacting Dave directly.
Sam Schultz, Sam is an active professional racer, and sought after driving coach for many teams, clubs and open track organizations. He is the “in house” pro for ZSA Motorsports and David Murry Trackdays, and his racing experience includes Grand Am Rolex and Continental, IMSA and HSR among others. He is also a driver and coach for several high end automobile manufacturers.
Craig Horning, Craig has had a personal passion to be a safe and skillful driver since the age of 10 after being in two serious back to back car accidents with his parents. Teaching himself to drive at the age of 12, Craig’s passion led to a very successful 16 year racing career with many wins and records. He founded H.A.R.T. to help other drivers develop the speed, skill, and safety that he honed during his career. One-on-one coaching sessions are available for $150 per hour on a first come/first served basis by contacting Craig directly. Craig recommends a minimum of 2 hours. Each hour includes about 30 minutes in-car instruction followed by a debriefing session in the garage.
