Brightening a Child’s Christmas, that’s what we do!

In keeping with our tradition of collecting toys for the needy during our Annual Fall Dinner, we selected the Cornerstone Manor in Buffalo. Once again the members of Niagara Region outdid themselves bringing in toys, outerwear and school supplies so desperately needed. Annette Slaughter was present and spoke to that need and thanked the group for their generous outpouring of love and happiness for the children that she looks after at Cornerstone.

As she mentioned they not only offer food and shelter to the homeless and women and children suffering from domestic violence, but they provide education and skill training while caring for the children in a safe and nurturing environment.  And that is why they were chosen this year to receive our toy donation. Thank you to everyone for so generously giving as we are so blessed.
