Early Porsche Group Drive to Allegany County
461 N Main St, Warsaw, NY 14569
Several group driving events are being planned this season for early Porsche cars. These include 356s, first generation 911/912s (1964-1973) and all 914s. These Porsches were the benchmarks of performance for sports cars of the day. Like all Porsches, they are happiest when driven.
June’s drive is through Allegany County, travelling over scenic rural roads, through historic towns, and across several state forests. We’ll start with a 10AM meet-up in Warsaw for coffee (about an hour drive from both Rochester and Buffalo). From there we’ll travel toward Fillmore, Rushford Lake, Hanging Bog Wildlife Refuge, Black Creek, and then to Angelica for lunch. From there, we’ll drive through state forests toward Ossian, then Portageville, and back to Warsaw. The mapped route is about 120 miles with the total driving distance to/from home of about 200-240 miles. Please email Bruce at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to confirm participation.
