All size socks, hats, mittens, & underwear are always greatly appreciated.
Also always needed:
Peanut butter & jelly, pasta & sauces, canned tuna, rice, beans, canned veggies, canned juices.

For Toys for Tots – ROC

How Toys for Tots Works
The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is directed by the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, with the assistance of his staff, from the Marine Forces Reserve Headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity, is the authorized fundraising and support organization for the Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation provides the funding and support needed for successful annual toy collection and distribution campaigns.

They are in need of items for ages 0-2 years and 12-15 years old.

On the topic of Pre-teen/teens this was taken from Toy for Tots site.  This is a particularly difficult group and we try not to forget them.
In the past, items purchased for these groups have included, but are not limited to: sporting equipment/bags/balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
Of course, you are welcome to purchase any type of toy(s) that you would like to donate to the group.

We will be continuing our tradition of the Charity Raffle. We would like everyone to participate by writing down their favorite charity on the back of their name cards. After dinner, we will put them all in a bowl and select names with their respective charities and then we will distribute checks to those charities chosen. Please have your charity names and addresses available to facilitate this effort.

We have two very deserving organizations this year, thank you in advance for your participation and support in this endeavor.

These donations are in addition to the annual four charities selected by our board members.
